Nowhere in the post does it say that we should be more like them. Granted they’re some extreme examples. It simply questions the hospitality given to those who enter the U.S. illegally when other countries defend their borders so heavily. New Zealand’s penalties for illegal immigration/people smuggling is up to 20 years in prison and a maximum 500,000$ fine.
